In construction, agricultural and home use, polyethylene film offers critical protection from the elements
and provides an excellent vapor barrier. And the best way to be confident that the film meets the
thickness and strength requirements specified by building codes throughout the nation is to look to
the certification program administered by the Construction and Agricultural Film Manufacturers
Association (CAFMA); Cafma was formed to high product standards, fair business practices, and
awareness of polyethylene sheeting products.

The CAFMA SEAL appears on products
that are regularly inspected under the industries only certification
program that includes random, in plant tests.
CAFMA'S independent professional inspectors field test polyethylene
film to ensure that products meet or exceed established standards for
length, width, gauge, and weight.
Tests are unannounced and peformed at each manufacturing site.
Further analysis is then made at ETL Testing Laboratories.
Results are reported after each inspection.
Only products that pass the test may display the CAFMA SEAL. Be sure you are buying FULL WEIGHT polyethylene film. Check each container: Length, width, thickness, and weight .............................. ...and look for the CAFMA SEAL on the package. ............................... It's your assurance of quality, full -weight polyethylene film. | |||
